I would like to announce that SimRacingHardware has been kind enough to sponsor this event with a prize.
How this prize will be handed out will be announced shortly before the event.

The prize is a Gear Indicator that you can connect to your wheel.
For more information on the Gear Indicator, click HERE.

The Prize Winner will be randomly drawn from all entrants, provided they have completed 75% of the total laps covered by the race winner. Drivers who share a car will both be added to the draw, but only one of them can win the prize (they must also complete 75% of the race distance).

Thank you very much to SRH for sponsoring the event. A new track featuring SRH logos will be made available as soon as it has been created.

    • Driver swaps will be available.

    ___________________________________________________

NOTE: If there is a major pile-up on the opening lap, the race will be restarted. This is only because it is such a long race/event and it would be heart-braking for those involved in the incident to be out on Lap 1!

    For drivers using Driver Swaps:
We are aware that there is the possibility of there being a glitch. Therefore we have guidelines for the occurrence of that as well:

If you are unfortunate enough to run into the glitch, you will first have to tell us that you had a glitch. Then you'll have to provide your own replay, from both drivers if needed, of the failed swap as that is our only way to tell for certain if you had a glitch or not and didn't just give up during the swap.

When you swap, shut off your engine. That way your engine will be restarted if the swap works out, if not it will stay off and it will be a confirmation on it being a glitch going on.

An alternative way of doing it is that the driver in the car keeps it in 1st gear and if the swap glitches it'll keep the car in 1st gear. If it works it'll put it into neutral.

    See you on track!

I'll join you. I'll try and drive the Ford Sierra RS 500. :) Thanks Jonatan.
  7. Ethan Bass Licensed Driver

What is in the Sounds Pack cause Speedy Share is saying only "Premium" members can download it.

Then, how different are these to the WTM cars, last drove them at Trois. Thinking of giving the big old Skyline a run cause lower power cars are boring in rFactor :p

When you say Driver swaps are available, I'm guessing they aren't mandatory cause I think I'll only care to even try driver swaps if I ever do GTR 24HR with GTR2.
  8. Jonatan Åcerclinth Licensed Driver

Will get on top of it Ethan :)

The difference is that the cars hasn't been tempered with to make them more leveled (like the WTM cars are/were) and they have slightly "stronger" characteristics :)

The driver swaps are indeed not necesarry but available for those you don't think they can do the whole event by themselves or prefer to share the fun in one car with a friend :)

    EDIT:
All download links attanded to and now working :)
  9. Andreas Löffler SRP League Organiser

Very unlucky this event is on a PMSC raceday .
  10. Jonatan Åcerclinth Licensed Driver

I'm sorry Andreas but the problem is that when I posted the event the PMSC sechedule had yet to be released :(
  11. Andreas Löffler SRP League Organiser

Yes i know, i had the shedule still only in the specific PMSC thread till today. Maybe a saturday would be better for this event, not that Andy comes with his DTM's (which is not uncertain) on another sunday.

The sign ups are not too great here for rF, so if changing to a Saturday brings an extra driver, I'm ok with that. ;)
