    Entry Application & Process Information

Here you can find all the information on how to apply to enter the DTM Season 2 league, we have applied the following entry procedure:

    Entry Applications
Drivers entries will be accepted based on their SRP Racing Licenses.

    Drivers License Areas
The following list of criteria shall be reviewed:
    1. Previous league attendance/dedication.
    2. Previous single event attendance/dedication (if no league history).
    3. Previous warnings/penalties.
Drivers who do not hold the above criteria may also apply to enter the league, you will have the next priority & will be placed on a first come, first served basis "Fresh Racing License" list, although bare in mind more investigating will be required and sign ups may be rejected.

    Application Process List
Once the "Drivers Application Process" stage above is complete, an "Entry List" thread of the successful entry applicants shall be made public Here. (This list will be the confirmed drivers for the league etc).

Reserves will be open per round, you will still need to enter your application for future reserve spots, again these shall be dealt with a first come, first served basis. Reserves are to request their future spots in each of the 8 round calendar threads, found Here.

When open, the Sign Up thread can be found Here.

    SRP Management's decisions are final.

    Round (Track) Specific Rules
    Track Boundary Rules
    • Drivers must use the track at all times. For the avoidance of doubt:
    (a) the white lines defining the track edges are considered to be part of the track, as are kerbs. Run-offs are NOT and,
    (b) drivers must have a minimum of 2 wheels on the track at all times.
    (c) Running beyond the track boundaries may incur penalties up to and including the exclusion of any driver concerned.
    • ATTENTION - Off-course excursions will not be GLOBALLY monitored, if you feel another driver is gaining an unfair advantage by going outside of the track boundary, send an incident report.
The race director may impose a penalty on any competitor considered to have obtained an unfair advantage (whether inadvertently or not) in a race. The penalty may be imposed after the race has finished.

    • Overtaking, according to the circumstances, may be carried out either on the right or on the left. However, manoeuvres liable to hinder other drivers, such as more than one change of direction to defend a position, deliberate crowding of a car beyond the edge of the track or any other abnormal change of direction, are strictly prohibited.
    • The leading driver can choose his line up until the driver behind brings ANY PART OF HIS CAR beside the leading cars rear bumper: at that moment the driver ahead is obliged to leave one car width of space.
    • As soon as any driver is caught up by a another driver which is about to lap him, the driver must allow the faster driver past at the first possible opportunity.
The race director may impose a penalty on any competitor found to have made manoeuvres liable to hinder other drivers. The penalty may be imposed after the race has finished.

    Race Discipline

Each of the following is a breach of these Regulations and will lead to disciplinary action being taken:
    • Driving in a manner incompatible with general safety.
    • Misbehaviour or unfair practice.
The race director may impose a penalty on any competitor found to be in breach of these regulations. The penalty may be imposed after the race has finished.

Each round (track) will have individual rules for allowed/disallowed corners you can find these rules each of the 8 round calendar threads, found Here.

    Penalties & Explanantions

Any penalties handed out during the season will be placed Here. All drivers must read this thread before any round.

A range of penalties can be imposed against offending drivers these include:
    • Time Penalties
    • Drive-through penalties (Race 1 of the next round, to be served within 3 laps)
    • Points deductions (includes team points)
    • Relegation on the starting grid (Will not be allowed to qualify)
    • Exclusion from the next race/round results
    • Suspension from the next round
    • Suspension from the league
    Further rule information:

Sometimes during the league, management may have to investigate a severe or repetitive violation of the aforementioned or any violation against SRP/DTM league rules, leading to an extended SRP management investigation. The above is just a guideline of what to expect regarding penalties, most are automatic but many incidents may require further investigation. We reserve the right to impose any kind of penalty or higher point reductions if a case deems necessary.

Helping directors enforce driver discipline is down to you the drivers.

Video evidence/timestamps made available within 5 days of an incident may be used for grounds of an investigation, any reports after 5 days may not be investigated. However, be aware I make my race reports via replays, if I see any possible violations I shall investigate them.

You can report an incident Here.

Standard SRP racing license rules apply to all of the above, found Here & Here.
